Mifgash Spring Semester- Open House & Dinner

All area teens are invited to join Mifgash, the Capital District Community Hebrew High School, at its Spring Semester 2015 Registration on January 11th at 6 pm at Congregation Ohav Shalom. The Registration will include course selections, a pasta dinner, and an interactive learning activity. Mifgash has 40+ students who come together each Sunday night from 6-8 to learn about a variety of Judaic subjects, including politics, history, Israel, text, ethics, art, dance, and cooking. Mifgash is excited to once again offer courses with three superb veteran teachers: Mr. Arnie Adler, Mr. Sandy Johnston and Mrs. Rivi Bahir. Mifgash is also thrilled to be welcoming three new educators to the faculty: Professor Victor Asal, Ms. Stephanie Fisher, and Ms. Beata Kirzhner. The course line up for the Spring Semester is Israeli-Palestinian Conflict with Professor Victor Asal, What's Nu? with Arnie Adler, Famous and Infamous Jews with Arnie Adler, Pirkay Avot with Sandy Johnston, Who? What? Where? When? And How? About the Jewish Holidays with Sandy Johnston, A Taste of Israel with Rivi Bahir, Jew U with Stephanie Fisher, and Israeli Dance with Beata Kirzhner. All Jewish teens are welcome!
